How to Play
Players and Turns
The list of players is shown in the upper left corner of the screen. The highlighted player is the one whose turn it is. Once a player's turn is done, the next player in the list will automatically be highlighted.
Drawing Cards
When it's your turn, you can draw a card by clicking the face down deck in the middle of the screen. Your card will flip over and reveal itself. The color of the card corresponds to the color of the player whose turn it is. This way it's easy to tell which card belongs to which player.
You can also have the computer automatically draw your card for you when your turn comes up. Just check the "Auto-draw cards" option in the "General" section of the Oops! preferences.
Moving Pieces
Moving pieces is simple; just click the piece you want to move and then click then the square you want to move to. When you first click a piece, the possible squares that it can move to will be highlighted in black. Click the piece a second time (or click an un-eligible square) to deselect that piece.
Alternatively, you can double click a piece to move it, provided there is only one possible square that piece can move to. You can turn off double click movement in the "General" section of the preferences.
You can also have the computer automatically move your pieces as long as there is only one possible move that can be made. As soon as more than one move is possible, you will need to manually select which piece to move and where to move it. Auto-moving can also be toggled in the "General" section of the preferences.
Moving pieces from start works the same way as moving pieces from other squares. If you get an Oops! card, first click the start circle and then click the opponent's piece you want to send back to start. Your piece will leave start and replace your opponent's piece. If you get a 1 or a 2, click the start circle and then click the first square next to the start circle (you can only move only one square out, regardless of whether you got a 1 or 2).
