Here are some great tips and tricks to help you further enjoy your PSP with PSPWare.

Syncing

Use automatic syncing to save time.

Use the Movies Dropbox to sync pre-converted PSP movies you download from the web.

Use iTunes to manage your music automatically.

Converting Movies

DVD's must first be converted to a video format before you can use PSPWare to sync them to your PSP.

Add many movie files when you are away from your computer and with automatic syncing enabled and your PSP connected, you can return to find all your movies already on your PSP. PSPWare will automatically sync once all movies are converted (when automatic syncing is enabled).

Non-standard movie formats should first be converted to a standard format using a third party application before PSPWare will be able to convert them into the PSP movie format.

Using the right resolution/aspect ratio in PSPWare's Movie Options window will allow you to take maximum advantage of the PSP's gorgeous display.

For smaller Memory Sticks, set the video and audio quality to lower settings to allow for more view on your Memory Stick.

By unchecking the "Sync the following..." option in each section of PSPWare, you can tell PSPWare not to manage the particular section for you when you sync.

Music

Use iTunes' "Smart Playlists" to automatically populate your PSP with new songs on sync.

Use MP3 or AAC format song files at lower quality to save space on your Memory Stick.

Song cover art is synced to the PSP provided you are using ID3 tags that are valid, we recommend ID3 v2.4.
