Shoo Apps v1.1.0
Shoo Apps allows per-application granularity in hiding inactive applications to keep your workspace uncluttered.
When Shoo Apps is first launched, the End User License Agreement is displayed. To continue, click the "Agree" button. Once a day, at launch, Shoo Apps will automatically check for application updates.
A menu extra icon of a dustpan is placed in the menu bar. All Shoo Apps functionality is controlled via this menu.
- Clicking on the icon will display a menu. If you are running an unregistered version, the first three choices are an option to purchase a registration code, the number of trial days remaining, and the choice to enter the registration information when it is received.
- The next item is the "Preferences..." item. This item allows the user to control when inactive applications should be hidden from view. All applications without custom settings will hide when "General" duration has been reached. Move the slider all the way to the right to prohibit that application from hiding or move the slider all the way to the left to have the application hide immediately.
- To create a custom duration for an application, the application must be running. Select the application from the list on the left side of the preferences window and adjust the duration as you would for "General".
- The next menu option is "Help". The Help sub-menu allows the user to view the About Box, open the default web browser to Pariahware, Inc's web site, and to manually check for application updates.
- The last menu option allows the user to quit Shoo Apps.
