ReadMe.html – Opening instructions for X-TrackAmaze 07 – Version number 2.0.4

1.   Pre-requisites

a.    Microsoft® Excel® Version 2007 or  Microsoft® Excel® Version 2010 (32-Bit) on Windows Operating System (32-Bit or 64-Bit)

b.    Microsoft Save As PDF” add-in for using export functionality (In case you have Microsoft Excel 2007 SP2 or later, the add-in is prebuilt into the package. This add-in is also available as a free download from the Microsoft site)

c.     A PDF Viewer (like Adobe® Reader®) for viewing the help file. (Adobe® Reader® is freely downloadable)

2.   Instructions to install X-TrackAmaze 07

1.    After you have downloaded XTA07_v2_0_4_Installer.zip, extract the contents of this compressed file into a folder of your choice. (You can extract this by using Windows Explorer in some versions of Windows OS or WinZip or any other compatible application).

 

2.    If you have a previous version of X-TrackAmaze, please Uninstall through “Add Remove Programs” (or its equivalent, based on your Operating System). If you do not have any previous version, proceed to the next step.

 

3.    In the extracted folder, you would find XTA07_v2_0_4_Installer.msi. Open this file and follow the installation steps as the installer guides you through.

Note: In case the installer requests for any permission to run the application, you would need to provide the permission for the Installer to continue.

 

Once the product is installed, familiarize with the functionality and working of the tool by reading the “xTrackAmaze07_Help.pdf” file. You can access the help either through the X-TrackAmaze menu that gets created (“Start->All Programs->X-TrackAmaze->X-TrackAmaze 07 Help”) or in the X-TrackAmaze folder under “My Documents” (or its equivalent). When you open X-TrackAmaze after installation, you can go to “About_XTA” worksheet to get a quick view of the features available in the product, through Indicator Quick Reference picture that is given in the worksheet.

 

If you are using this for trial, the trial period will expire in 30 days. To continue using the product beyond the trial period, you would need to purchase and activate the product. If you have already made the purchase and not yet activated the license, see section “Activation of License” in the pdf help file for the activation procedure. Note 1: In case you were using the earlier versions of X-TrackAmaze 07 and the application does not start properly after installation of Version 2.0.4, go to “C:\Program Files\LockXLS” folder and delete “lockxlsruntime.dll”. Ensure that the Microsoft Excel is closed completely and then reopened. Open X-TrackAmaze 07 from the menu again. Contact Support if the issue persists.

Note 2: X-TrackAmaze 07 Version 2.0.4 requires new activation code if the previous activated version being used is earlier than Version 2.0.1 (If you have Version 2.0.1, new key is not needed). Kindly refer to the help file to get the activation code.
